Girls Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains & Goodwill North Central Texas are proud to present Good Turn Day.
Sunday, October 1st
Collection period to begin: Girls are to collect two (2) 30-gallon sized bags (or more) of gently used donations and donate to their nearest Goodwill North Central Texas location. Find a donation location online.
Sunday, October 1st – Saturday, October 31st
Collection period and education opportunity: Girls can continue to collect donations and can learn more about Goodwill North Central Texas by completing an online video/quiz through BrainShark. Goodwill North Central Texas will provide the learning video/quiz and also offer other online tools such as website, YouTube videos and Social Media updates.
Saturday, October 28th (Good Turn Day)
Tour day: Goodwill North Central Texas will offer a tour and activity day to Troops that would like to visit Goodwill Altamesa (2100 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76134) and learn more about Goodwill operations in person. Event will be offered at 10 a.m. Goodwill will also facilitate a craft activity and provide goodie bags for attendees. Girls that come to this tour and turn their donations in or present their donation receipt, will receive their patch on-site.

Satuday, October 31st
Last day to bring in donations to any GNCT donation location. All troop leaders will turn in receipts and donation information to Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains (GSTOP) contact to determine the number of patches needed. Goodwill North Central Texas will deliver patches to GSTOP to be distributed to the girls that did not attend the Good Turn Day tour and receive on-site.
For Girl Scouts who completed the program but did not attend the Good Turn Day event, please contact Katherine Curtis at kcurtis@gs-top.org to make arrangements to receive your patch.
