Goodwill North Central Texas Names Director of Human Resources

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (July 11, 2019) – Goodwill North Central Texas, Inc. announced today that Kim Perkins has been promoted to Director of Human Resources.

In her new role, Perkins will be responsible for managing activities regarding the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of human resources programs with an emphasis on employee relations, recruitment and compensation planning.

“Since joining Goodwill North Central Texas, Kim has strived to develop and maintain a culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality and continuous improvement,said Elizabeth Butler, Vice President of Human Resources for Goodwill North Central Texas. “Her expertise in the development of staff makes her an excellent fit for her new position.”

Perkins joined Goodwill North Central Texas in October 2018 as Manager of Human Resources. She previously served as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for National Community Renaissance in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. and as Human Resources Manager for California Scents in Irvine, Calif. prior to her move to north Texas. A native of Illinois, Perkins earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Northern Illinois University in 1994. She also holds a certificate in Human Resources from California State University – Fullerton and Professional in HR (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute. Perkins is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Fort Worth HR.
