FORT WORTH, TEXAS (May 16, 2019) – Goodwill North Central Texas, Inc. announced today that the organization will open its 24th area retail store on Monday, May 20, 2019. This will be the fifth store specifically serving the greater Arlington area.
The 12,000 sq. ft. retail store is located at 4700 S. Collins Street in Arlington on 2.5 acres of land. Grand opening ceremonies will kick off at 9 a.m. with a ribbon cutting and an appearance by Dallas Cowboys mascot, Rowdy. Shoppers can enjoy a live DJ, drawings and giveaways every hour on the hour.
“Every retail store that Goodwill opens means more revenue to support our job training and placement programs for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment,” said David Cox, president and CEO of Goodwill North Central Texas. “Revenue generated through the sale of donated goods fund programs serving veterans, at-risk youth, the homeless, the disabled and the general public through our job resource centers.”
